Free tax and registration forms

Official PDFs from the IRS and the Illinois Department of Revenue, linked to the Flipfiled guide that explains each one.

General information only, not legal or tax advice. I am not a lawyer, a CPA or an accountant. Flipfiled does not prepare tax returns or give legal advice. This page explains what the IRS says a form is. It does not tell you how your own taxes should be reported.

How to use this page

These are free, public forms from the IRS and the Illinois Department of Revenue. The links go straight to the government’s own site, so you always get the current version (forms change, and an old copy can be out of date). Download one, read its instructions, and fill it out yourself.

If a form feels intimidating, I can help with administrative paperwork like the ones marked “Clerical help” below. You enter your own SSN, taxpayer ID and signature yourself. I never collect them. I do not prepare tax returns, and I do not give tax or legal advice. For tax return forms, talk to a CPA or enrolled agent.

Tax return and tax election forms (for information only)

These affect how your business is taxed. Flipfiled does not prepare them or advise on them. They are here so you can see what they look like and bring them to a CPA.
